Preparing fresh coffee using this coffee machine is just a matter of pressing three buttons with built-in indicator lights. The process starts by switching on the machine, pouring ground coffee into the burr grinder and then pressing the ‘Prepare coffee’ button, which allows you to brew as much and as strong coffee as you prefer thanks to its in-built stop function. Pressing the button again will end the brewing process. This feature allows you to prepare coffee just the way you prefer in a given moment. The SCM31 allows you to prepare 1 or 2 cups of espresso. The milk frothing function makes it easy to create the perfect, perfectly prepared heated milk froth for your coffee – just press a button, wait a moment and enjoy the silky foam.
The SCM31 is equipped with a durable and easy to maintain double stainless steel filter.
Thanks to the removable 1.2 litre water tank you’ll less frequently be forced to refill water while preparing coffee. The robust pump achieves a pressure of up to 15 bar, making our coffee indistinguishable from that served in top cafés.
An efficient water heating system ensures top performance and keeps water at a constant temperature throughout the coffee brewing process.
A removable frothing tray and frothing nozzle further improve comfort of use by making regular cleaning of the machine extremely easy. In addition, if you forget to switch off the coffee machine, the unit will switch itself off after 25 minutes of inactivity.
